Privacy policy

Last updated 30 October 2026.

You can use Runnista without an account, and analytics cookies are off until you accept them. This page describes what personal data we handle, why, for how long and what your rights are.

Who is responsible

Indvisor AB in Stockholm decides how and why your personal data is used, so it is the controller. Contact us at hello@runnista.com about anything on this page.

What stays on your device

Runnista keeps some choices in your browser's local storage: your filters and sizes, hidden stores, your recent searches, tips you've seen and, while you're signed out, your saved products (♥). They aren't sent to us. The only thing sent is a count: when you tap ♥, Runnista adds one to the product's number of saves, and takes it away when you tap again, with nothing that says who you are. The counts put the most-saved products higher in the feed. Saved products are kept for 30 days from your last visit. If you clear the browser's site data, all of it is gone.

If you turn on "Tailor the feed to what I look at" in the cookie settings, Runnista keeps what you save, open, tap through to a store, and spend time on in your browser, as a profile of brands, kinds of piece, colour styles and price levels, to order your feed by it. The profile stays on your device and turning the choice off wipes it. About half of the visitors who say yes get the feed ordered this way and half get the plain daily order, so Runnista can see whether it helps; which group you are in is kept in your browser and sent with the analytics events, if you accepted those.

When you visit

Runnista is hosted by Vercel, which receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads, like any web host. Vercel also tells Runnista which country the request comes from. Runnista uses that only to choose the language: a visitor in Sweden gets the Swedish pages first, and can switch to English in the menu.

Product photos are loaded from the stores' own servers, which therefore also see your IP address.

Analytics

With your consent, Runnista uses Google Analytics to see how the site is used, for example which pages are visited and which products are viewed, saved, shared or opened at a store. Analytics cookies stay off until you press Accept, and nothing about the products you look at is sent before that. Until you choose, and if you decline, Google Analytics receives only cookieless pings.

Nothing is used for advertising: advertising cookies and ad personalisation are off. You can change your mind at any time under Cookie settings in the footer. Google may process the data outside the EU and EEA under the safeguards in Google's data processing terms, including the EU standard contractual clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Our legal basis is your consent.

Your account (optional)

If you sign in, or tap Watch the price, we ask for your email address and send you a sign-in link. There is no password.

We then keep your email address, the language you use Runnista in (so emails come in the right language), the products you've saved (♥) with a short copy of each product's details (name, brand, store, category, price, photo and link), and the products you've asked us to watch (the product, size, colour and when you asked). That lets your list and watches follow you between devices, and lets us send the alerts you asked for. If you turn on price-drop emails, we also keep that setting and the price we last mentioned for each saved product, so the same drop isn't announced twice.

The data is stored with our database provider Supabase, in Stockholm. Our legal basis is that it's needed to provide the service you asked for (contract). The account and everything in it is kept until you ask us to delete it. You can sign out at any time.

Email

We only email you about what you asked for: the sign-in link, alerts when products you watch are back in stock and, if you turned it on, emails when products you saved drop in price. If a store you watch a product at leaves Runnista, we say so once in the next email. You get at most one email a day, and every email has a link to stop it. Sign-in links are sent through Supabase and alerts through Resend.

A watch ends when we have emailed you about it, and its record is deleted 30 days later. A watch that hasn't led to an email within six months is deleted. The price a price-drop email named is kept while the drop lasts, and at most 60 days.

Stores and links

When you tap through to a store you leave Runnista, and the store's own privacy policy applies there. Some store links may be affiliate links, which can set cookies at the store.

Links to stores carry a label (utm_source=runnista) saying the visit came from Runnista, so the store can see how many of its visitors come from Runnista. The label says nothing about who you are.

Who receives data

We use these providers to run Runnista. We don't sell personal data.

  • Vercel: hosting
  • Supabase: accounts, sign-in links, saved products and watches
  • Google: analytics, only if you accept
  • Resend: back-in-stock and price-drop emails (within the EU)
  • jsDelivr: delivers the library used for signing in
  • Forward Email: forwards the email you send to hello@runnista.com to us

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to see your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how it's used, and get a copy in a machine-readable format. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time, without affecting what was done before. Write to hello@runnista.com and we'll answer within a month.

You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY): imy.se
